The design of our Lodges has been done in such a way as to integrate the architecture in perfect harmony with the environment, offering an aesthetically intimate feel with the landscape.
Addo Palace “Ndebele Bush Lodge” is set in a privileged natural setting, marked by its abundant vegetation and wildlife. The Ndebele Art outlines our magnificent lodges and is complimented by the beautiful surroundings. Our establishment and location is ideal for families, groups of friends, corporate breakaways and couples who wish to enjoy a romantic experience.
The Addo Palace “Ndebele Bush Lodge” project was born from a deep love for the South African tribes and their cultures that seem to be slowly fading away. The aim is to promote the art, culture and traditions of these unique and colourful Ndebele and Xhosa tribes to the rest of the world. We specifically promote the famous Ndebele cultural paintings that are used on their homes in Mpumalanga Province as huge canvases that hold stories and tales within the intricate patterns and designs.
Eastern Cape Province is one of the most captivating regions of South Africa. Being malaria-free, having a magnificent range of vegetation, having such versatile wildlife and the contrasts of landscapes of sea, mountains and savannah.
Addo Palace “Ndebele Bush Lodge” is in a privileged location in the scenic Kromrivier Valley due to its proximity to the famous private Shamwari Reserve and Schotia.
